Mix 137 - Southern Wildflower Garden Mix for Dry to Medium Soils

Mix 137 (Southern Wildflower Garden Mix) is designed for the environmental conditions of the Southern Tier States and for sites with dry to mesic soils. Flowering period and flower colors are coordinated for full season variety. The amount of seed of each species in the mix has been calculated using the number of seeds per pound of each species factored by establishment parameters. Mix 137 contains the following 5 native grass species and 18 native wildflower species: Indian Grass, Little Bluestem, Switchgrass, Splitbeard Bluestem, Purple Top, Butterfly Milkweed, Blackeyed Susan, Ohio Spiderwort, Smooth Beardtongue, Lance Leaved Coreopsis, Greyheaded Coneflower, Partridge Pea, Purple Coneflower, False Sunflower, Spiked Blazing Star, Bergamot, Passion Flower, Rigid Goldenrod, Tall Goldenrod, New England Aster, Showy Tickseed, Sneezeweed, Maximilian Sunflower, and Iron Weed.
