Tall Fescue - Turf Type (Festuca arundinacea)
Festuca arundinacea, with the common name tall fescue, is a long lived, deep rooted, spreading bunch grass flowering in late spring/early summer. It is a native/naturalized perennial growing in full sun or part shade and in dry to medium soil moisture sites. The Turf type fescue were selective breed for better performance in lawn and sport field applications.
