Weeping Lovegrass (Eragrostis curvula)
Eragrostis curvula, known as Weeping Lovegrass, is a 1' to 3' tall naturalized spring flowering warm season grass. It is a naturalized annual requiring full sun and grows best in dry to medium soil moisture sites. It is used as a temporary cover for erosion control purposes, especially on mine spoil.
