Perplexed Tick-trefoil (Desmodium perplexum)
Perplexed Tick-trefoil is a 2’ to 4’ tall native perennial legume with pink, aging to blue, pea-like flowers. A late summer flowering plant that will grow in dry to wet soils and prefers full sun sites. The seeds of this plant are important in the diet of quail, turkey, grouse, song birds, and small mammals.
